The Best Skincare is the Kind You Use

My mum would tell me that the best skincare is the kind you actually use. Meaning that the skincare you own is only as useful as the frequency of which it’s being used.

My skincare routine consists of paraben-free products as parabens are a known cancer-causing ingredient often used as a preservative in bath, body, and face care products.

As for a facial cleanser, I enjoy my first-aid beauty facial cleanser which has lasted me ages at this point. For moisturizer I use whatever I have on hand at the moment. Moisturizer is the product I use the most of and go through the fastest. My go to moisturizer if I’ve out is the Kiehl’s Ultra Repair face cream. It’s a great day and night cream for dry to combination skin. If I won the lottery, I’d be purchasing the Augustinus Bader The Rich Cream which I received a few deluxe samples of from the lovely sales associate at Harrods. Laneige also makes some great face creams but I find them to be a bit out of my budget at the rate at which I go through it.
